Greece will allocate 845 thousand Euros to Russian tour operators for the promotion of destination

“The Greek National Tourist Organization (GNTO) will allocate almost 845,000 Euros to 10 Russian tour operators for the promotion of the direction”, - reported the Association of Russian Tour Operators (ATOR). "In total, more than 100 tour operators from 20 countries are included in the GNTO list. As for Russia, 10 Russian tour operators will be provided almost 845 thousand Euros (which is 25% of the total amount) to promote Greece on the Russian market", - told in ATOR. Among Russian tour operators who will receive support money from GNTO's advertising budget are Coral Travel, Anex Tour, PEGAS Touristik, Biblio Globus and Mouzenidis Travel. According to the Association, the promotion of Greece on the Russian market will be provided by means of Internet advertising, webinars, seminars and workshops, as well as organization of press tours, outdoor advertising, print media, radio and TV. Last year about 900 thousand Russian tourists visited Greece. In 2018 the country's authorities expect to host more than 1 million visitors from Russia.
