Greece opened a new visa center in Moscow
“The new Greece visa center has opened in Moscow near the metro station "Tulskaya", - said the correspondent of the portal "Interfax-Tourism”. The visa center is located at Mytnaya Street 66. Now the center is opened as for tour operators and for private clients too. Previously these functions were divided among the two Greece visa centers operated in Moscow. Now we have only one Greece visa center in Moscow and it is much larger in area. Earlier it was reported that almost 900 thousand Russian tourists came to Greece in 2016, which is 30% more than a year earlier. In 2016 Crete Island was the most popular destination among Russians, it hosted 42% of tourists. In the middle of March, Consul General of Greece in Russia Eleni Vakali informed, that on the eve of the high summer season the consulate trains additional personnel and tests technical equipment with purpose to avoid problems in high season.
