Greece and Cyprus have opened wider for Russian tourists
Good news for Russian tourists came from two Mediterranean countries. The Greek authorities have accelerated the issuance of a QR code. The QR code now arrives immediately after sending the PLF form, which all travelers must fill in before traveling to Greece at https://travel.gov.gr/#/.
Moreover, the rule of filling PLF no later than 24 hours before entry has been canceled. Tourists flying to Greece who did not fill out the PLF form in advance, can do this directly at the airport of departure, right before the flight. The QR code will be received immediately after sending of the documents to the e-mail indicated in the form.
Summer sale took place in Cyprus. The cost of PCR tests for COVID-19, which Russian tourists undergo upon arrival, have significantly decreased.
So, a PCR test at Larnaca airport will cost 15 Euros instead of 30 Euros, and at Paphos airport tourists will pay 19 Euros (it was 32 Euros).
