For 11 months of 2017 the number of Russian tourists in Spain has increased by 14%

“For the first 11 months of 2017, 1,095 million Russian tourists visited Spain, which is 14.1% more than in the same period of the last year”, - according to the National Institute of Statistics of the country. On the first line in the list of arrivals are the tourists from Great Britain - 17.966 million people (+ 7%), then are the tourists from Germany with 11.407 million (+ 6.1%) and France (10.697 million people, plus 0.4%). In total, Spain hosted 77,805 million foreign tourists for 11 months, which is 9.1% more than the result for January-November 2016. The number of tourists from Russia to Spain in November amounted 52 thousand people - 25.7% more than in the same period of the last year. The TOP 3 in November looks similar to the statistics for 11 months - Great Britain (913.4 thousand, growth of 5.4%), Germany (594.5 thousand, + 9%) and France (535.8 thousand, plus 0,5%). For 11 months of 2017 most tourists for holiday in Spain have chosen Catalonia (18.223 million travelers), the Balearic Islands (13.692 million) and the Canary Islands (12.957 million). Madrid during the reporting period, hosted 6,219 million tourists, which is 16.2% more than a year earlier.
