Experts predict problems with free rooms in Turkey in season-2018
The tourism industry in Turkey expects a significant increase of a tourist flow in the summer season - 2018. The forecasts are based on the results of early booking program, which today exceed the last year's figures: 70% of the volume was added by foreign market and 30% by local. This is reported by Koray Kyuchyylmaz, the General Director of the online booking service tatilsepeti.com. He believes that in 2018 38 million tourists will come at Turkish resorts - 16% more than in the past year. And he supposes that together with the activation of the domestic market this fact can provoke difficulties of accommodation. "In connection with the growth of demand I do not exclude the emergence of problems: during the season it will be difficult to find vacant rooms", - quotes his words the Daily Sabah. The participants of the Russian tourist market confirm that Turkey will be in demand among Russians even more than in the last year – that is why the tour operators are expanding the flight programs for the summer-2018. These forecasts are also confirmed by the dynamics of sales. Biblio-Globus operator says that the volume of early booking has already exceeded the figures of the previous year by 25%. However, they assume that the present number of rooms is sufficient enough. "I think we can only talk about difficulties with confirming rooms in popular hotels", - said Irina Kostenko, the CEO of the tour operator.
