Early booking discounts for Bali hotels reach now 25%

According to Indonesian statistics, for the first half of 2018 the country was visited by over 68 thousand of Russian tourists, 90% of them rested on Bali. The companies who began play on the direction recently, note a multiple growth. "We offered tours to Bali last winter and at that time the demand was stable. This year the number of bookings on the direction has already increased fourfold in comparison with 2017", - said ANEX Tour operator. The increase in demand for tours to Indonesia is also noted by players in the non-mass segment, for example, it is seen in VEDI TURGRUPP Company. According to Yulia Saburova, the Leading Manager of the Southeast Asian department, the demand increased by 7% in comparison with the same period of the last year. Nevertheless, as the specialist points out, despite the possibility of year-round recreation in Indonesia, the direction for the Russian audience is still seasonal: the resorts are visited mainly in winter. As Anna Filatovskaya, the PR-director of ICS Travel Group notes, the growth of euro and dollar against ruble have affected on the sales of long distance destinations: the demand for the direction in winter season in this company has now decreased by approximately 15%. A number of tour operators have an early booking action for Bali. According to Marina Makarkova, the Head of the public relations department of Coral Travel tour operator, last year discounts within early booking action reached 25-30%, but this season Indonesian hoteliers offered discounts slightly smaller - about 20-25%. The formula for early booking of Bali was as follows: booking at least 45 days prior to arrival - 10% discount, minimum 15 days before arrival - 15% discount, etc. Anna Filatovskaya from ICS Travel Group explains that the early booking action is offered by the hotels of Bali on the principle "the more days before the arrival, the better the offer". The action usually operates for the entire contract period, excluding the peak New Year period (25.12 - 05.01.2019). Due to the growth of the world currencies against the ruble and the increase of the cost of air travel, tours to Indonesia in this winter season have risen in price: on average, from 5 to 20%. The cost of living has not changed much. Coral Travel gives such example: if in 2017 a tour to 4-stars hotel for 12 nights at Bali resorts cost 60,000 Rubles ($ 910) per person, in 2018 the same tour will amount 75,000 Rubles ($ 1,134). In 5-stars hotel last year you could rest for 90 000 Rubles ($ 1,360), this year this trip will cost 95 000 Rubles ($ 1,436) per person.
