Charter flights from Russia to abroad increased by 30% for the New Year holidays
“The number of passengers of charter flights from Russia to abroad has increased by 30% for the New Year holidays”, - said the Head of the Transportation Regulation Department of the Russian Air Transport Agency Andrei Kruglov. "From December 26 to January 8 more than 700 charter flights were carried out from Russia, including more than 400 flights from the airports of the Moscow aviation hub, which served more than 3 million passengers – that is 9% more than in the same period of the last year. Totally, the number of passengers, who chose the charters flight, is 30% more than in the last year", - he added. According to him, the main directions of transportation were Thailand, Vietnam, China, India, France, Italy, Spain and Cyprus.
