Autumn holiday in Turkey has risen in price by 20%
The cost of tours to Turkey in September - early October was significantly higher than in the same period of the last year, but the volume of sales is stable. According to the Director of the development of RossTour’s network Maria Slugina, high prices will last until the end of October. "Many popular hotels this summer were on “stop sales”, so they raised the cost of rooms by 15% at least and according to my estimates - by 20% or more. Plus the price of transportation has increased", - noted Slugina. She added that in 2017 season - Turkish hoteliers reduced prices for Russian partners and spent a lot on promotion in order to return the flow of tourists from our country to the previous level. Probably, the obtained results satisfied them, and in the season-2018 they raised the prices "for two years at once". In her opinion, this affected the demand - it is slightly worse than last year. In TBS group network confirmed the rise of price of tours on average by 20%, but they noted that the reservations did not decrease. "The cost is higher than in 2017, but the tour packages are still cheaper than in the summer. The school year began and no one traveling with children now”, - said the Deputy Director of TBS group Ekaterina Presnyakova. Among other trends, noted by the speakers, are good sales figures for sightseeing tours to Istanbul. In addition, besides the ever-popular Antalya coast, tourists began to show more interest for Bodrum. At the present time, the cost of weekly tours for two persons at 5-stars hotel in Turkey on All Inclusive basis in late September - early October begins from 47 thousand Rubles ($ 711). By the second half of October the price reduces to 43 thousand Rubles ($ 650), while tickets for the same dates can be purchased for 35 thousand Rubles ($ 529).
