ATOR: tour operators are waiting for the growth of tourist traffic to Croatia for the autumn season

“The demand for tours to Croatia for autumn season among Russians is higher than in the last year”, - reported the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) with reference to the data of tour operators. The Croatian Tourism Office in Russia reported that from January to August, more than 108 thousand Russian tourists visited the country, the number of nights reached almost 800 thousand. "We see now the growing not only of tourists flow, but also due to the successful sales of Russian tour operators, the length of stay of tourists from Russia has also increased", - noted the Head of the Croatian tourist office in Russia Raiko Ruzicka. According to him, there are positive expectations for Croatian side for the autumn period. "According to the estimations of tour operators, the demand for this direction for autumn season is higher than in the last year and many tours were sold at the early sales stage", - noted ATOR. The market participants report that the depth of sales reaches mid-October. The average duration of the tour is 7-10 days.
