ATOR: the tourist flow from Russia to Antalya increased 22 times after the opening of charter flights
“The resorts of Antalya were visited by more than 430 thousand Russian tourists for the period less than three months after resumption of charter flights to Turkey. This number is 22 times more than in January-August 2016”, - reported the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) on Thursday. As added in the ATOR, in addition to regular flights from Russia in September-November more than 2 thousand charter flights arrived to Antalya. Despite the beginning of winter, the Russian tour operators have launched to Antalya 80 flights odd within the framework of charter transportation. During September - October the charters performed flights with high loading. The tour operators in some regions had to put extra flights to Turkey and extend the terms of the flight program. Flights to Turkey in winter will also continue due to lack of the Egyptian market.
