ATOR: sales of holiday tours by tour operators in Russia have increased over 20% during the summer time

The tourist industry representatives appreciate the volume of growth of domestic tourist flow at summer time 2016 by 20% in comparison with the last year - the portal "Interfax-Tourism” was reported in the Russian Association of Tour Operators (ATOR) on Wednesday. Thus, the "NTK Intourist” company notices that the volume of summer tours to the Crimea in comparison with the last year was increased in 2.5 times, to Anapa - 7 times, in Sochi - about 10 times. The “Coral Travel” also recorded a positive trend in sales of domestic tours. The leader is beach holiday in Anapa, Gelendzhik, Sochi, Crimea. The demand for excursion tours inside the country also increased. According to ATOR, the price of holiday tours at Russian resorts this summer grew an average by 10%. "There have been cases of unjustified overpricing. As a result, these hotels were half-empty in the season. Such cases took place at all the resorts, but their number is not a lot", the commercial director of "Alian" company Oksana Bulakh said.
