All restrictions on the sale of tours to Abkhazia have been lifted

Taking into account the stabilization of the situation in Abkhazia, March 14, the Russian Foreign Ministry cancelled the recommendations to refrain from traveling to the republic, which had been in effect since mid-November 2024.

According to Vice President of ATOR, General Director of the tour operator Dolphin Sergey Romashkin, the demand for tours to Abkhazia will recover within 3 - 4 weeks. At the early booking stage the tour operators have sold about 30% of summer tours to Abkhazia, and by May this figure could reach 60%.

Compared to the last season, hotels in Abkhazia have increased their rates by 10%. To special discounts are expected, since Abkhazian hoteliers do not need to sell out all rooms for the summer in a short time.
