Airlines of Russia and Greece will increase the frequency of Moscow-Athens flights from 21 to 35 times a week

“Airlines of Russia and Greece will be able to increase the frequency of flights between Moscow and Athens from 21 to 35 times a week”, - according the decision of air authorities of the two countries, published on the website of the Federal Air Transport Agency. Changes are acting on a temporary basis until the next round of consultations between the air authorities. It concerns only designated air carriers of Russia and Greece: for the Russian side - 7 of the additional 14 flights and the remaining 7 – for the Greece side. Currently, the direct flights between Moscow and Athens are performed by Russian Aeroflot (daily) and S7 Airlines (5 times a week), as well as Greek Aegean Airlines and Ellinair (both 3 times a week).
