Airline companies of Russia and Turkey will be able to carry out regular flights between Moscow and Alanya
The Russian and Turkish Airlines will perform regular flights between Moscow and Alanya. That is follows from the memorandum of understanding between the aviation authorities of the Russian Federation and Turkey, which is published by the Federal Air Transport Agency on Thursday. The memorandum was signed during the meeting, which was held on 20-21 December 2016. Alanya airport "Gazipasa" will be the ninth destination in Turkey for the Russian air carriers - the document says. Both Russian and Turkish Airlines will perform scheduled flights by this route up to 7 times a week, said the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency. "Alanya is a very interesting direction. According to our request, at the next talks between Russia and Turkey aviation authorities we will discuss this issue", - said CEO of the carrier Andrey Kalmykov. In addition, the parties agreed on the possibility to open regular flights between Istanbul and two Russian cities: Zhukovsky and Grozny. Permitted frequency of flights for each carrier is seven times a week.
