About 200 thousand Russian tourists will visit Great Britain in 2018

The Russian tourist flow to the UK this year will grow from 5 to 10%. This forecast for the Russian market was announced by Tatiana Khoreoshok the Head of VisitBritain office in Russia. According to Mrs. Khoreshok, in January-September of 2017 the UK was visited by 166 thousand Russians, which is 44% higher than in the same period of 2016. In 2018 about 200 thousand Russians will visit Britain. As the Head of VisitBritain office in Russia marks, the direction is very returnable for the Russian market. About 60% of travelers are repeated tourists. A representative of British tourism notes that about 96% of applications of citizens of Russian Federation applying for a visa to the UK have a positive decision.
