Tour operator Natalie Tours changed its position to give a discount to direct customers after a conflict with travel agencies

“Tour operator Natalie Tours has decided not to give a 10% discount to direct customers, because of which large travel agencies refused to cooperate with the company”, - said the representative of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

"The situation with the suspension of the sale of package tours from Natalie Tours by a number of the largest online travel agencies and offline networks has been resolved. Now the announcement of the promotion with discount has been removed from web site of Natalie Tours. Nevertheless, all players have drawn certain conclusions from the situation", - the report says.

According to ATOR, in December the website of the tour operator "Natalie Tours" reported that each client, who books tours directly, can get a 10% discount of the tour price. After that, the large online aggregators of package tours such as,,, Level.Travel, as well as TBS, Ambitur, Suncetour, Quadra and LaRussia had stopped the sale of the company's tours.

As the Association notes, a 10% discount for direct customers is equal to the size of travel agents’ fee of the tour price. Thus, travel agents could not guarantee their customers the cost of tours equal to the cost from web site of Natalie Tours and removed all the offers of the tour operator.
