In general, the speed of the wireless Internet in Russian hotels is higher than in the world. The highest Wi-Fi download speed among the hotels is registered in Nizhny Novgorod. The study was conducted on the basis of responses of 2 thousand tourists, received through TrustYou system.
Nizhny Novgorod has scored 71.37 points of a possible 100. On the second place was Novosibirsk (66.42), on the third - Novgorod (65.09). Moscow was only on the fourth line of the rating with the index of 62.9. Irkutsk closes the TOP 5 (62.58). The average figure for Russia was 54.66. As it is noted in the Hotellook, the global average Wi-Fi speed in hotels is below the Russian figures. Particularly, Italy and Spain - the popular areas among the tourists - showed 44.13 and 44.62 points. Slightly higher speed of the Internet is in Germany - 45.41 points. Id est, the connection speed in the popular tourist countries is comparable with that one in Suzdal.
