The company management of Multitur tour operator was replaced
Irina Gormakova was appointed as General Director of Multitur tour operator in September. The post of Commercial Director of the company was taken by Vadim Osipov. Implementation of a new development strategy and increasing of the level of the company's business efficiency will be the main objectives of the new leadership.
Ms. Gormakova graduated the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MSUCI) in 1999 and in 2010 she graduated the Higher School of Management and Innovation (Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov) specializing in Innovation Management.
From 1999 to 2001 she worked in General Directorate of Rostelecom Company. From 2001 till 2018 she worked in MTS Company, where she dealt with issues of strategic development, optimization of business processes and planning and monitoring of budget execution.
Mr. Osipov graduated the Faculty of History of State Pedagogical University and the Faculty of Law of Udmurtia State Univercity. After graduation he worked in the companies Eldorado, Beeline, Garant Infocenter in the field of sales management, marketing and advertising. From 2011 till 2018 he managed projects of the development of hotel sales and work with suppliers in the companies UTS Travel and Bronevik. Since 2015 in the company Ozon.Travel Mr. Osipov headed the direction of suppliers and hotels. He has practical experience in the building of successful commercial structures and implementing of projects in the field of online sales of tourist services. He is an expert in creating of hotel products for online travel agencies.
In the next season Multitur tour operator intends to significantly expand the range of hotels, sanatoriums, recreation centers in Russia and CIS countries and to promote the company as a convenient and reliable online booking system.
The first steps in this direction have already been made. In September 2018 the tour operator launched a booking system of city hotels in Russia and CIS countries. Currently in this segment Multitur has more than 1500 objects with a wide geography of location.
