Singapore Airlines (SIA) has today taken delivery of the world’s first Airbus A350-900ULR (ultra-long-range) aircraft from Airbus. It is the first of seven A350-900ULRs on firm order and will enter service on 11 October 2018 - operating the world’s longest commercial flight between Singapore and Newark Liberty International Airport.
Tour operators plan to increase their flight programs to Thailand. Almost all leading tour operators declared that their volumes are higher than in the winter season last year.
Singapore, 30 July 2018 – ITB Asia, ‘Asia’s Leading Travel Trade Show’, has seen a record number of buyers registering for this year’s show with nearly 1,000 approved buyers set to attend, a 12% increase on last year. Hosted at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Marina Bay Sands, the conference will take place from 17 - 19 October 2018.
This year, the top ten source markets for buyers from the Asia Pacific region include China, Oceania, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia and Thailand.
AVIAREPS, the company representing tourism, aviation and hospitality organisations, has expanded its international market presence with the opening of an office in Azerbaijan’s capital, Baku. The new office is responsible for conducting General Sales Agent (GSA), marketing, PR and trade promotion activities for airlines, destinations, tourism services and other representative activities for both the markets of Azerbaijan and neighbouring Georgia. The Baku office becomes the 61st office within the AVIAREPS group, and extends the AVIAREPS network to 46 countries worldwide.

TUI adds to its range the most famous island of Indonesia – Bali. Departures from Moscow are on the bases of Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines (with one change) and the programmer lasts from mid of November till the end of March 2017.
"Siberia" and "Globus" - the airline companies of the “S7 Airlines Group” – have signed a code-share agreement with “Singapore Airlines”, which provides joint flights to Singapore from a number of Russian cities”, - it is reported in the S7 statement.
The passengers of “S7 Group” airplanes will be able to fly to Singapore by direct flights from Moscow airport "Domodedovo". The flights will be performed four times a week: on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays by “Singapore Airlines” aircraft.
“Singapore Airlines” company will close the direct air communication between Moscow and American Houston from November 1. However, the authority of the carrier decided to keep Moscow in the winter schedule as the destination of flight”, - regional Vice President of the Singapore Airlines in Europe Subhas Menon told reporters. Other routes to Russia are not yet considered, but it is possible that a member of the “Singapore Airlines” group - “Scoot” airline low cost company – may launch flights to Russia – in Vladivostok and St Petersburg.
