“Moscow was included in the list of cities in which New Zealand plans to close its visa centers. According to Steve Stewart, the General Manager of the immigration service of visa services, in the next three years the number of points abroad will be reduced from 17 to 5”, - Interfax reported citing the portal New Zeland Education. In the visa center of VFS Global company (authorized to provide visa services to New Zealand), located in Moscow on Suschevsky Val, 31, the correspondent of TourDom.ru was informed that at the present time the center continue is working in the usual mode. The application for a visa through the visa center will cost for applicant 2 030 Rubles. This payment is only for VC services, including the verification of the applicant's data, the filing of the questionnaire and the transfer of data to the consulate. The visa itself is free for the citizens of Russia. There is another way. The applicant can independently fill out a visa application form on the immigration service website, attaching photos and necessary documents. Thus, if the paper method of filing applications is abolished, all applicants will have to independently fill out the visa application form in their personal account on the website. According to New Zeland Education, about 50% of applications for visas to New Zealand are already made online, and this proportion is predicted to grow only, which is the reason for the reduction of the number of visa centers.
