Expenses of Russian tourists abroad increased by 27% for 10 months of 2017

“After several years of decline the expenses of Russian tourists abroad increased by 27% for 10 months of 2017”, - informed UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

Russia in on the second line in the list of growing dynamics after Brazil (the expenses of citizens of this country abroad increased by 33%).

Rapid growth of spending abroad was also recorded among travelers from China (plus 19%), Republic of Korea (plus 11%), the United States and Canada (plus 9%) and Italy (plus 7%). Expenses of tourists from Germany, Great Britain, Australia, Hong Kong and France grew from 2% to 5%.

According to the UNWTO, for January-October period of this year 1.1 billion travelers made trips, which is 7% or 70 million international arrivals more than in the same period of the last year.
