Aeroflot 65-th anniversary of regular flights to Paris
August, 2 2019 Moscow. Aeroflot celebrated 65-th anniversary since the start of regular flights from Moscow to Paris. At the very beginning the flight had the transfer in Prague. In four years later the governments of two countries agreed about the direct flights. Aeroflot used TU-104 on the line. The flight of 2700 km lasted 5 hours and 50 minutes then.
Today this time is only 4 hours. There are 5 flights a day by Aeroflot and 4 by Air France according to code-sharing agreement. Aeroflot also flies to Nice, Marseilles and Lyon. Aeroflot group has flights to Paris and Nice from Saint Petersburg by means of Rossia air company.
Moscow-Paris route is the most important part of transit line between Europe and Asia now. Thanks to Moscow geographical position transit passengers can save up to three hours of flight time. And Aeroflot expenses are lower than competitors have, so the company can suggest special service and price for the passengers.
The increasing passenger flow speaks about the popularity of the destination. During the first six month of the year there were approximately 300 000 passengers transported.

Aeroflot has the youngest fleet in the world among the air companies with more than 100 air crafts. In 2018 Aeroflot transported 35,8 mln passengers and 55,7 mln passengers if to take into consideration Aeroflot Group flights.

Aeroflot is the most recognizable aviation brand in the world according to Brand Finance agency information. Aeroflot is on the 4-th place on digitalization among all the air companies according to information of the American consulting company Bain & Company.
