“The Turkish airline Atlasglobal plans to open direct flights on the route Nizhny Novgorod - Istanbul from May”, - informed the press release of the Nizhniy Novgorod airport "Strigino".
The first regular flight from Nizhny Novgorod to Istanbul Ataturk Airport is scheduled for May 30. The flights will be carried out four times a week - on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flying time is 3 hours and 30 minutes. Transportation of passengers will be performed by A321. Ticket sales are already opened.
"The schedule of flights from Strigino is currently organized in such way, that the airport of Istanbul can become not a final point for our passengers, but as a hub for flights to Europe and Asia", - the message says.
As it was reported previously, the Turkish low-cost Onur Air refused from regular flights to Istanbul from Nizhniy Novgorod, Samara, Chelyabinsk and Volgograd due to low demand. In particular, it was planned to perform flights three times a week from Nizhny Novgorod since May 4.
