Russia finishes preparations for the World Cup 2018

“Vladimir Putin demanded from law enforcement forces to work in correct and delicate manner while providing security during the World Cup”, - reports TV channel Moscow 24.
This task was set by the President at the meeting of the supervisory council of the organizing committee "Russia-2018".
He stressed that security issues should be given special attention and at the same time not forget that the World Cup is a big holiday for many thousands of fans from around the world.
The Head of the State demanded to ensure the quality and timeliness medical assistance, if it is necessary for football fans.
"It is necessary to provide a mechanism which excludes any bureaucratic obstacles and delays. The lack of insurance or registration in another city is a purely technical issue, the main thing - is timely and high-quality medical care", - stressed Putin.
The President also visited the Sochi stadium "Fisht", which will host the World Cup matches.
The championship will be held from June 14 to July 15. Twelve stadiums in 11 Russian cities: Moscow, Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi and Yekaterinburg will host the matches.
An operational headquarters has been established in the capital to coordinate the preparations for the World Cup 2018. Alexander Gorbenko the Deputy Mayor for regional security and information policy was appointed as its leader.
