Putin signed the law on visa-free entry to Russian Federation for the fans of Confederations Cup and World Cup 2018

Foreign fans will be able to come Russia without visas during Confederations Cup in 2017 and FIFA World Cup 2018. The law was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and published on the official portal.

The new federal law allows foreign visitors to entry Russia without visa if they have in electronic form a personalized card of the viewer, issued while purchasing an entrance ticket to the match.

Also, according the law, entry is allowed by the identity documents and recognized as such by Russian Federation.

The opportunity to enter Russia without a visa is provided to foreign tourists before 72 hours of the beginning of the first match of FIFA World Cup 2018 or Confederations Cup 2017 and until the last day of the competition.

Cup of Confederations 2017 will be held from June 17 till July 2 in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Sochi. Matches of the World Cup will be held from June 14 till July 15, 2018 in 11 cities of Russia.
